Fanciful Frogs

When you think of dancing, singing and instruments sweetly ringing, frogs may not be the first things that hop into your head. But for designer Jennifer Cargile, owner of Cargile Creations, it was the creative inspiration of a few talented frogs that got this five-year-olds' room hopping. This sweet and sassy look was inspired by Kelly Rightsell's Fancy Frogs rug. Fun loving frogs, flowers and fashion best describe the delightful rug, which contains various shades of soft yellows, pinks and greens.

The bed is a black iron twin with magenta pink comforter and a fun bubble-dot gathered dust ruffle with trim. The pillows are handmade to match the dust ruffle and the tie-in unique frog rug. "The look of the room was updated by using black furniture from dilly dally," Jennifer explains.

"We painted the walls green and incorporated pink and green fabrics to make the room pop." The bedding and window treatments were custom made to be girlie (stationary balloon shades in a pink and green plaid from Cargile Creations) but not over-the-top.

What once was a room that was plain and drab is now one cool frog's Lilly pad!
