Making room for baby often requires a bit of a sacrifice on the parent's part when getting ready for a newborn. So when it came time for Kristen Greczyn to work on her nursery, converting her home office into baby's bedroom was an easy option to accept.
Kristen selected Angela Krause of dilly dally to make the conversion happen. Angela helped Kristen select a hand embroidered crib and bedding along with a gorgeous silk and cotton rug. She also appointed her resident artist to create a beautiful custom mural for the freshly painted walls. "The artwork is my favorite part of the room," Angela says, "and our artist-in-residence outdid herself on this one!"
Custom panels were ordered to cover the shelving on each side of the fireplace. All of the remaining furniture added to the nursery centered around the timeless look of the crib.
Without a closet in the room, Angela improvised and had the shelving panels designed to be closed later on if Kristen so desires.
The initials painted inside the molding above the mantle were designed and painted by a local muralist and personalize the room perfectly.
