We all have a hidden artist inside us just itching to get out, but sometimes our creativity can get the best of us leading to disastrous results. After attempting to decorate her new nursery herself and with a messy and disappointing outcome, future mom, Kristy Gleichauf admitted she needed help. So she gave up and contacted Loren Pease of SweetPease Art for the help she needed to bring her dream nursery to life.

"The theme of this nursery has a circus and a carousel feel to it," Loren says. "Simple and happy is what we were going for." Inspired by Kristy's genuine love for animals and the fantastic bedding she found at GreenPea Nursery, Loren skillfully pulled together the pieces she needed to bring this great nursery to life. With the help of Krista Cathey, also of GreenPea Nursery, she created a room that would make this mother-to-be one proud mama.

Creating an environment that was really special yet neutral was part of the goal. So Loren started with a mural based on the bedding and stayed gender neutral but with a feminine flair.

The ceiling treatment pulls the nursery together and helps create a feeling of movement in the room. The animals all have a bit of youthful humor that really brings this room to life.
